Before the App Store there was Sony Ericsson’s Play Now. I was responsible for the design for several mobile products including the Xperia X10 and X10 mini.

Design
One of the most complex yet important applications on a modern smartphone is the content store. Sony Ericsson was a trend leader as theirs was available years before the App Store on the iPhone came out for example. I was responsible for the redesign that moved it from a slow web based solution into the a native android application.
Deliverables
My design was used on number of products with a variety of hardware and other dependencies. The solution had to be very flexible in order for operator and other business to plug into the ecosystem and incorporate it into their offerings.
